How we distribute our kits
We personally deliver our kits to low-income children and families at institutions serving low-income communities, including schools and community centers.
A very important part of our mission is to help these families feel cherished and meet them in person. Even though covid-19 presents constant challenges for face to face interactions, we have found ways to deliver in person.
We bring the donations to their doorstep.

Preparing our kits
We seek product donations, close outs, and price discounts. Once we have enough supplies, we hold a covid-19 safe packaging event where volunteers assemble our kits.
We add a personal touch with a handwritten note in each kit.

The Forming Futures team made 109 school supplies kits containing a total of 550 items, and delivered them to children in Queens, NYC.
Each kit had 2 notebooks, 2 pencils, 1 eraser and a hand-written note.
